Will Artificial Intelligence take our Human Intelligence ?
We are constantly hearing new stories of AI; it is making the headlines in the News.
Recently I heard about Sora AI, which can create Videos from Text, and the Videos created by that AI were mind-boggling.
Whatever we once thought could be done only by us, is presently being done by AI, and that also in a matter of few seconds.
AI is creating “Hope” as well as Fear.
How is AI creating “Hope”?
“Hope” is because it can make many of our tedious tasks easy.
If you see, from our childhood, we have been forced to memorize large amounts of information, the majority of which haven’t been used by many of us after we left school.
Let’s analyze what we have gained and what we lost in that process.
We have used our brain for memorization, which is a form of Brain Exercise, that was our gain, but in the process, we lost a lot of Valuable time.
If we look at any living thing around us, then we will come to know that all these living things only have their own time and their time on Earth, which is called its “Life Span”.
For Example, a dainty mayfly lives only for 24 Hours, which is its Lifespan.
The average life span for us is around 76 years from birth.
We could have used that time for creativity, playing, traveling, fun, entertainment, the list is Endless.
AI is providing us “Hope”, as we can use AI to take on the job of memorization for us, it can take away the job of carrying a lot of useless information in our heads. Life can be pretty much relaxed for us.
Why is AI creating “Fear”?
Firstly, we have seen a lot of Movies, where Robots take over control from our end, attacking us, and ruling the earth. The movies like “Terminator Series “, show the threat that Self-thinking Robots can create. There is also an Indian movie called “Enthiran”, which means Robot, which cast south Indian superstar “Rajini Kant “, where the Robot attains artificial intelligence, falls in love with the same girl whom his creator is in love with, and then makes a turmoil and mass destruction in his desire to get the Girl.
Even though these movies are pure fiction created by our imagination, and way far from Reality, there are some facts also in it.
Artificial intelligence, if developed into “Super Intelligence “without adequate control measures, it has the potential to take over us.
“Fear “ that we do have is the “ Fear of the Unknown “ is because we may be developing something bigger than ourselves, and we don’t know how it turns about.

We worry about many factors, but I believe, for everything, there is a positive and negative side, it all depends on how we react to something and ultimately how we use it. For Example, We can use a knife to cut vegetables or to injure a person, it all depends on how we use it.
Regarding Artificial Intelligence, as it is in the beginning stage, we are a little bit confused. But, in the modern-day hype created by Artificial Intelligence, there is one thing that we underestimate –Human Intelligence.
We are the most intelligent creatures living on the earth, we don’t have the power or speed of a Cheetah, but we have developed ultrasonic jets that can travel at a speed higher than Sound , we don’t have wings, but still, we fly , we doesn’t have the eyes of Eagle , but we see moon closely than any eagles could .Ultimately we will figure out the ways to manage the Artificial Intelligence , when the time comes
